Peradeniya University Students Protest over Weliweriya incident

Students of Peradeniya University have organized an agitation in front of Galaha Junction against the government that shoots down masses at Weliweriya.
The government, instead of responding justly for the people has unleashed its terror squads and has begun shooting down masses who ask for their rights.
Meanwhile Ruhuna University students also organized Protest over Weliweriya incident today noon.

  3. Where is Peradeniya and where is Weliweriya? What is the connection among universities and Weliweriya? Peradeniya university is monopolised by JVP. Most of the protesters are not undergraduates but people from out and some of the protesters are forcibly dragged into it. Few of the lecturers are also organising and promoting such events. University authority should take a firm stand and inform the students who are not interested in their education to leave the university immediately.
