Piliyandala Madhawa & Bandaragama Jayamal were first
year student of Management and Finance Faculty.
Four students had gone for a
sea bath from the campus and sea had been rough and they were carried away
by a wave. One managed to rescue and admitted to hospital.
රුහුණ සිසුහු දෙදෙනෙක් මුහුදේ ගිලෙති - තව සිසුවෙක් අතුරුදන්
රුහුණ සරසවියේ සිසුන් දෙදෙනකු සරසවිය ඉදිරිපිට මුහුදේ ගිලී මිය බවත්, තවත් සිසුවකු අතුරුදන්ව ඇති බවත් සරසවි ආරංචි කියයි. පිළියන්ද මාදව හා බණ්ඩාරගම ජයමාල් නම් සිසුන්ගේ සිසුරු සොයා ගත් බවත් ඔවුන් පළමු වැනි වසරේ සිසුන් බවත් සරසවිය කියයි. දිය වැලකට හසුවුණු සිසුන් හතර දෙනාගෙන් එක් සිසුවකු බේරාගෙන ඇත. මේ සිසුන් කළමනාකරණ හා සමූල්‍ය පීඨයට අයත් වෙති
