Sri Lanka major university students' union, Inter University Students'
Federation (IUSF - ANTHARE) will hold a protest march today noon from Colombo Fort to the
Ministry of Higher Education ward place. This is will create a huge traffic !
IUSF said that the march is organized by the Students' Union of the
Rajarata University and with the support of other universities.
It is 226 Days for the Continuous Sathyagrahaya Campaign of Rajarata Campus Students.
The students demand the authorities to revoke the decision of the
university authorities to suspend the studentship of 28 students. Rajarata
campus students recently took the Vice Chancellor hostage to win this demand
but the authorities refuse to be lenient to the students after the hostage
drama.
