According to the Principal of SL Law College, Dr Jayatissa De Costa P.C., question papers will be in English, Sinhala and Tamil with candidates free to answer in the language of their choice.

Among the other decisions by the Council of Legal Education is to exempt those who have Bachelor of Laws (local or foreign) from attending lectures, to sit Attorneys-at-Law exams at the next available examination, immediately after passing each exam.

They can sit two Attorneys-at-Law exams or to sit all the Attorneys-at-Law exams together.

Eligible students (those admitted on the results of the Entrance Exam, will require 75% attendance at lectures) can sit the Attorneys-at-Law exams to be held in April.

Meanwhile, The Law College is calling for applications from Sri Lankan LL.B holders of a foreign university recognized by the Council of Legal Education, with a Credit pass in English, Sinhala/Tamil Language at the GCE Ordinary Level.

Those interested are requested to collect their applications from the Law College office in Hulftsdorp Street, Colombo 12, and submit them on or before March 19 if they wish to sit for the April 2015 exam.
