Sri Lanka Department of Examinations says that results of the 2014 G.C.E Advanced Level (2014 GCE A/L Exam -Aposa Usaspela Prathipala) Examinations released December 27.

Candidates can check their results online from the department’s Official website  www.doenets.lk

University Entrance process will be as follows. 

1. First re-scrutinized A/Level results 2014 should be released. 
2. Then University Hand Book will be issued. 
3. After issuing the Hand Book students should be fill it and send to UGC.
4. Based on students’ desired course students have to apply for aptitude tests after publishing on national newspapers. 
5. After that students have to sit for Aptitude Tests depend on their selected courses. Then aptitude test results will released by relevant universities.
6. Z score cut off marks will be released with selected degree course.
7. After that 3 week leadership Training program will be held.
8. Finally University Registration!

Meanwhile Higher education Ministry says that the students who are qualified for the 2015 University Academic year based on 2014 A/L results will be admitted before the end of 2015.

2014 A/L Exam Results Release December 27

2014 G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations (A/L Exam UsasPela Prathipala) held from August 5 to 29.Sri Lankan Commissioner General of Examinations, W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that 234,197 school applicants and 62,116 private applicants sat for the examination this year, which held at 2120 centers.

Reduced Cut Off marks of 2014 Grade 5 scholarship examination will be released Today to the internet.

Pass marks for students in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Kurunegala, Galle, Matara and Kegalle districts were 163. 

The second highest margin, 161, was for students from Anuradhapura, Ratnapura Polonnaruwa and Hambantota Districts.

Pass marks for other districts were: 160 for Ampara, Trincomalee, Puttalam, Badulla and Moneragala, 159 for Nuwara Eliya, Mannar, Vavuniya and Mullaitivu.
