Sri Jayewardenepura University Aptitude Test

University of Sri Jayewardenepura calls applications to conduct aptitude test (written and

practical) to select students for the admission of the study program leading to B.Sc (Special) Degree in Sports Science and Management. Applications

In order to be eligible for admission to Sports Science and Management degree program, candidates

should have qualified for university admission with at least “S” passes for three subjects available in

Arts, Commerce, Biological Sciences or Physical Sciences subject streams at the G. C. E. (A/L)

Examination 2012, and should have submitted their university admission application to the UGC by

now. Special consideration will be made for candidates who are excellent in the field of sports.

Above aptitude test will only be conducted in English medium. Aptitude test has two components,

written paper to test theoretical competencies and practical test to evaluate physical skills.

ශ්‍රි ලංකා සබරගමුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ නේවාසිකාගාර වල මේ වන විට සිසුන්ට අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු වල යෙදීමට අවශ්‍ය අවම පහසුකම් වත් නොමැති තත්වයකට පත්ව ඇති අතර දිඟින් දිගටම පරිපාලනය මේ පිලිබදව දැනුවත කලද මේ  ගැටළු වලට විසදුම් දෙනවා වෙනුවට සිසුන්ට පරිපාලනය  විසින් බලපෑම් කර තිබේ.

මෙහිදී මීට පෙර 2011-02-22 දින නේවාසිකාගාරයේ පැවති අනාරක්ෂිත තත්වයක් හේතුවෙන් සිසුවෙකු විදුල සැර වැදී මිය ගිය අතර අදාල නේවාසිකාගාරය සඳහා විදුල බල මණ්ඩලයේ හා ඉදකිරිම් දෙපාර්තුමේන්තුවේ  අනුමැතිය පවා නොමැති අතර නේවාසිකාරයේ පැවති අනාරක්ෂිතභාවය හේතුවෙන් එම නේවාසිකාගාරය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට නොගන්නා ලෙස සිසුන් ඉල්ලා සිටි නමුත් එය නොසලකා හැර නැවතත් අදාළ ගොඩනැඟිල්ල නේවාසිකාගාරයක් බවට පත් කර එයට ශිෂ්‍යාවන් ඇතුළත් කරන ලදි. එහිදී එම නේවාසිකාගාරයේ අනාරක්ෂිත තත්වය නැවතත් ප‍්‍රදර්ශනය කරමින් අදාළ නේවාසිකාගාරයේ හතර වතාවක් සොරුන් ඇතුළු වී ශිෂ්‍යාවන්ගේ ජීවිත වලට පවා තර්ජන එලල් කරන ලදි. මෙහිදි අදාළ අවදානම සම්බන්ධයෙන් නේවාසිකාගාරයේ ශිෂ්‍යාවන් මීට පෙර විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පරිපාලනය දැනුවත් කළද එයට විසඳුම් ලබා දෙනවා වෙනුවට විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පරිපාලනය දැනුවත් කළ ශිෂ්‍යාවන්ගේ පන්ති තහනම් කරන බවට තර්ජනය කරමින් අදාළ ගැටලූව වළලා දමන ලදි.  

නමුත් මේ වනවිට නැවතත් ශිෂ්‍යාවන්ගේ ජීවිත අනාරක්‍ෂිත තත්වයකට පත්කරමින් අදාළ නේවාසිකාගාරයේ බිත්තියක් ශිෂ්‍යාවන්ගේ ඇඳන් මතට කඩාවැටී ඇති අතර එහිදී ශිෂ්‍යාවන්ගේ ජීවිත වල ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කරනවා වෙනුවට සිද්ධිය පළිබිඳ  දැනුම් දෙන  සිසුන්ගේ පන්ති තහනම් කරන බවට හා  සිසුන් පොලීසිය ලවා අත්අඩංගුවට ගනන් බවට ශිෂ්‍යාවන් බියවැද්දීමට විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පරිපාලනය කටයුතු කර ඇත.
