If the undergraduates do not rag the freshers mercilessly the vice chancellor doesn't have to ban the union president from attending the university. Most of the union members are waiting to find fault with the authorities of the university for taking disciplinary action for their rowdy behaviour but do not make an effort to appreciate the free higher education they are getting like descent human beings. Only good thing that has come out of the discussion with the vice chancellor is to get some new hostels.

DeleteJust because of a few hard core union members the rest of the undergraduates who have come for higher education are badly affected. The sad part of it is that there are some university lecturers and professors who are guiding the unionists with an unseen hand to destroy the peaceful atmosphere required in a university or a medical college for undergraduates to pursue their studies.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad to see this downfall in our country. They destroy the lives of innocent students for political or personal gain. This is why most of our students move out to other countries to study.
DeleteThere are very many students who cannot afford foreign university education therefore the government should take drastic measures to maintain the peaceful atmosphere required in a university by penalising the undergraduates or lecturers/professors who are waiting for a drop of a hat to start an agitation.
