Sri Lankan doctors postponed strike against Private Medical College

Sri Lankan doctors have decided to postponed the scheduled strike. Postponed strike is against the Higher Education Ministry's decision over controversial Private Medical College in Malabe. However Government Medical Officers' Association says that they would take strong action if relevant authorities not concern about this issue within a week time.

The scheduled strike action by the Sri Lankan Government Doctors has been temporally called off after a discussion with the Health Minister. Health Minister has agreed to appoint a five member committee to investigate about this issue.
