Sri Lankan university students protested over arrest of their union leaders. Thousands students from Japura,Ruhuna & Kelaniya universities participated for these protests in front of universities.
At the moment IUSF Convener & IUBF Convener have remanded.
නිදහස් අධ්යාපනයත් අධ්යාපනයේ නිදහසත් වෙනුවෙන් හඬ නැගු වරදට සිරගත කර සිටින අන්තර් විශ්වවිද්යාල ශිෂ්ය බලමණ්ඩලයේ කැදවුම්කරු සංජීව බන්ඩාර සහෝදරයා සහා අන්තර් විශ්වවිද්යාල භික්ෂු බලමණ්ඩලයේ කැදවුම් කරු කිඹුල්ලෑවේ චන්දානන්ද හිමියන් නිදහස් කරන ලෙස බල කරමින් රුහුණ විශ්වවිද්යාල මහා ශිෂ්ය සංගමය මගින් අද දින(2013.07.10)වැල්ලමඩම පරිශ්යයේදී විරෝධතාවක් පැවැත් විය.

විශ්වවිද්යාල සිසුන් සහභාගි කර ගෙන විරෝධතා පාගමනක් පැවැත්වීමේ 'වරද'ට සංජීව බණ්ඩාර මහතා තවදුරටත් රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කරන්නැයි මිරිහාන පොලිසිය අද අධිකරණයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.
ඒ, ඔහු අද ගංගොඩවිල මහේස්ත්රාත් අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කළ අවස්ථාවේදීය. ඒ අනුව සංජීව බණ්ඩාර මහතා ලබන 26 වැනිදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කරනු ලැබීය.
මේ අවස්ථාවේදී සංජීව බණ්ඩාර මහතා වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටි නීතිඥයින් පැවසුවේ, එම පෙළපාලියේ ඉදිරියෙන්ම හා පසු පසින් ගමන් කළේ පොලිසිය බැවින් රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කළ යුත්තේ සිසුන් නොව පොලිසිය බවයි.
A drop of a hat is enough for a certain lot of undergraduates of some universities to protest. They are educated fools because by not following lectures they are the ones who are loosing. Just because of a few people majority of undergraduates are not able to follow lectures. Many who protest are outsiders not attached to any local university.
ReplyDeleteTo which university does the IUSF convener attached to? Jayawardenapura, Ruhuna and Kelaniya university authorities have said that he is not an undergraduate in any of the said universities.
