At the more than 500 university students are sitting in front of UGC and protsting.
Kelaniya University Students started a Protest March short while ago despite heavy resistance from Police.Students are marching towards the University Grant Commission Colombo. Heavy traffic is reported in Peliyagoda area in Colombo-Kandy Road due to this protest march. Students are urged UGC & university officials to solve their Hostel problems.

Police has surrounded the Kelaniya University says Inter University Students Federation. Kelaniya Campus students have planned to launch a protest march today.Meanwhile Police has taken a court order against it. Students say that they continue their protest march.
