Sri Lanka University ZScore & Campus Admission Details

The letter (Admission Letter) mentioning your selected university & degree course and registration dates will be sent UGC in future. 

Post card & the relevant E-mail will send in future. 

Academic activities of Medical & Engineering faculties will start 2015 November end.

According to the reliable sources other faculties will start 2015 December to February 2016 duration.

University Leadership Training Program will not be held this year.

University Education State Minister Mohan Lal Grero said that Immediate measures will be taken to arm undergraduates with English language and communication skills, English language ability and communication skills will be added qualifications for the graduates.

English Language Teaching Units (ELTU) will also be established in each university. English Clubs will be established under the ELTU in each university letting undergraduates to master their communication skills in English.

Students those who have problems with z score and degree changes should send an appeal to the UGC in written. Students should forward a written appeal to the UGC along with the documentary evidence in support of the appeal. A photocopy of the appeal application form in the UGC admission handbook could be used as the appeal format. 

Appeal should be forwarded to the UGC within 4 weeks from the date of publishing the Cut-off points. (2014/2015 Academic Year students’ dead line is November 5).

Sri Lanka University Grants Commission UGC released Z score cut-off marks for the university admissions based on the GCE A-Level 2014.

This year University Z-Score Medicine Cut-Off Marks as follows, Colombo 1.93, Jaffna 1.90, Kandy 1.884, Galle 1.882. Last year Matara & Hambantota districts were behind Colombo district.

University Z-Score "Management" Cut Off Marks-  Colombo 1.56, Matara 1.55, Galle1.54, Kegalle 1.51. Last year Galle District was number 2.

University Z-Score "Engineering" Cut Off Marks-  Matara 1.9239, Colombo 1.9232, Galle 1.90
