Sri Lankan state & Private Universities, Campuses and Higher Education Institutes World Rankings 2016/2017 edition released. 

According to the 2016 July edition, Again Colombo University maintain their No:1 position in Sri Lankan Universities. Peradeniya Campus secured No 2 place while Moratuwa Uni 3^rd place. Sri Jayewardene University (Japura Campus) dropped to No: 6th place while Kelaniya University jumped to 4^th Place.Ruhuna University has ranked as 5th Place.

When compared to World ranking, we are still far away (1946) but improved than last year (2135).
