| Eastern University Closed |
Several faculties of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka have been
temporarily closed due to bad weather conditions and floods in the area. Academic
activities of the Trincomalee campus will continue.
The Arts and
Cultural Faculty, the Commerce and Management Faculty, the Science Faculty and
the Agricultural Science Faculty have been temporarily closed. The Eastern
University officials announced that these Faculties will be re-reopened on the January
2, 2013.
