First Year female student of the Jaffna
University, arts faculty has been found dead under suspicious circumstances at
her residence in Chunnakam, Jaffna,Sri Lanka.
Victim identified as Nadarasa Kiyani resident of Chunnagam area and the student of Jaffna University, sources said.
The 21-year-old, student was found dead in a chair in the house where she had engaged in studies.
Police said a piece of cloth from a bed sheet was found wrapped around her neck and therefore suspect she was strangled and murdered last evening.
The suspicious death had occurred while her parents were away from the house, police said.
This mysterious death once again cause tense situation at the Jaffna
University.
