Around 1,800 students who were unable to sit the GCE O/L examination
last year due to being marooned by floods, will be able to sit a special
examination from February 09 to 11.
Sri Lanka Examinations Commissioner General W. M. N. J. Pushpakumara said
that arrangements had been made to hold a special examination and the admission
cards had been sent to the candidates.
If any candidate had not received his or her admission card, he or she
should immediately contact the Examinations Department on the hotline 1911 or
the Examinations Organizing Branch of the department, he said.
Everything was in place to hold the examination at special centres set
up in the Matale, Kuliyapitiya, Chilaw, Kurunegala and Moneragala Districts,
Pushpakumara added.
