Leadership training program 1st Batch selected students Name list
has been released to the Official Web Site. Students can check whether you have
selected for First Batch or not by entering your National Identity Card Number
(NIC).

university Leadership training program for the 2012/2013 academic year will be started
November 25. The relevant letters to be posted November 1st Week.
The leadership and

training program for the 2012/2013 academic year will be held from October to
November this year, Higher Education Ministry Director General of Students
Affairs Keerthi Mawellage told to Lanka University News.
The leadership and positive
attitude development training program is scheduled to be launched in two or three
sessions at 22 Army camps islandwide, he said.
Mawellage said the Higher Education Ministry hopes to announce the exact date and other details in the near future via Leadership Training Official Web Site. Several changes have been made in this year's program considering feedback from students, parents and university academics.

"A certificate will be
awarded to every university students participating in the program. There is a
very good response from students and parents regarding this program,"

activities.

ReplyDeleteI hope they will have leadership training only for two weeks. Three weeks is too much and then University academic year can not be started in December 2013 as promised.
Delete3 weeks for that so called training program.It's way too much.Please reduce the thing for 2 weeks and start the new academic year as soon as possible.Because I think 2 weeks is more than enough for the training. After all we are not going to be army officers, are we?So shorten the bloody thing and get on with it. Because one year and 2 months is enough of waiting,isn't it?

First ugc looks at at the last five years who enrolled to the universitys from 3 rd shy attemp and 2 nd , 1 st attemp..after that they will decide how many student that they have to choose from the 3 rd.i think that precentage will be 13% or 15 % from 3 rd attemp from mathz..bio may be 25%

ReplyDeleteWhen will the training program start? There is no further notification about that. And we haven't received the acknowledgement card yet. We asked from so called U.G.C. about that. And they told that they are still processing the applications. What the hell are they doing for this long?

ReplyDeleteI received the letter for the leadership training according to which the training will start on 28th November , and we are advised to be there on 27th November.
I checked on the leadership training official web site , and entered my N.I.C no. Got the correct training center which is the same in the letter.I checked for the relevant training center in the list , and matched the color code. But there is a different starting date ( 24th November ) shown in the list for the training center to which I was selected and the date in the letter isn't the same.
Which is the correct source. Bearing in mind that I have no faith on the Official web site.But this is confusing.

ReplyDeleteOne of ma friends also participated last year and decided to go to campus from this year's results. Don't think he is participating again. Better to ask by calling those help telephone lines though.
