university Leadership training program for the 2012/2013 academic year will be started
November 25. The relevant letters to be posted November 1st Week.
The Campus leadership and
positive attitude development training program is scheduled to be launched in
three sessions at 22 Army camps islandwide.
The First Sesesion
will be started from November 25 to December 16.
Second Session will
be started from December 21 to January 11, 2014.
Third Session will be
started from January 28 2014 to February 18.
First Session Batch November
25 - December 16
Second Batch December 21 - January 11, 2014
Third Batch January 28, 2014 - February 18

ReplyDeleteLast year only two (2) weeks of leadership training were given and MOHE said this year also it will be for only 2 weeks as already university admissions have got delayed. Two weeks of leadership training is more than enough. Then at least universities could commence earlier. If the leadership training is going on till the middle of February when are they hoping to commence work in universities?

ReplyDeleteWhat is the main purpose of this program, advantages, benefits? Why are students not allowed tel phone calls during the training.
These are just students, not to be soldiers so why is the training so tough going for a 3 week time at certain places in SL? They are like in custody.
it is not even equal to 1/100th the heavy training srilankan troops will undergo in their training. this is all about life saving skills , leadership skills.The students can make the calls anytime they want.

Delete3 weeks for that so called training program.It's way too much.Please reduce the thing for 2 weeks and start the new academic year as soon as possible.Because I think 2 weeks is more than enough for the training. After all we are not going to be army officers, are we?So shorten the bloody thing and get on with it. Because one year and 2 months is enough of waiting,isn't it?
