Much awaited, Minimum Z-scores based on the GCE (A/L) Examination in 2012 will be released today evening says UGC and can be accessed through the following modes.
Z score cut off marks released
to the official websites www.ugc.ac.lk and www.admissions.ugc.ac.lk
.
Information can be received
by the hotline 1919 from tomorrow or contacting the UGC for below Telephone
Numbers 0112695301, 0112695302, 0112692357, 0112678731
UGC has first time
introduced to get Cut off marks via sending a Short Message Service (SMS) from
your mobile phone.This facility will available from tomorrow.
You can Check Z score by SMS
to 1919 from tomorrow
• ugc <space> Index Number ->
send to 1919
• Example: ugc 2223322 ->send to 1919
The Z score Cut off marks
will be published in national newspapers including “Dinamina”. Also
2012/2013 විශ්වවිද්‍යාලවලට ඇතුළත් කිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය අවම ඉසඩ් ලකුණු අද (08) නිකුත් කෙරෙන අතර දුරකථන ඇමතුමකින් හෝ කෙටි පණිවුඩ (SMS) මගින් ද තමන් තේරී ඇති පාඨමාලාව ගැන දැන ගැනීමට විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාව(UGC) මෙවර මුල් වරට පහසුකම් සලසා ඇත.

www.admission.ugc.ac.lk යන වෙබ් අඩවියටද අවම ඉසඩ් ලකුණු ඇතුළත් කෙරේ.
හෙට (9 ) සිට රාජ්‍ය සේවා තොරතුරු කේන්ද්‍රයේ 1919 අංකයට ඇමතීමෙන් හෝ එම අංකයට (1919) ඕනෑම ජංගම දුරකථනයකින් කෙටි පණිවුඩයක්‌ යෑවීමෙන් අදාළ පාඨමාලාව දැන ගත හැකි බව විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාවේ අතිරේක ලේකම් ආචාර්ය ප්‍රියන්ත ප්‍රේමකුමාර මහතා පැවසීය.
කෙටි පණිවුඩය යෑවිය යුතු ආකාරය වන්නේ UGC (හිස්තැනක්) විභාග අංකය 1919 ට "SEND" කිරීමය.

If not today, they'll surely release it tomorrow. because most reassuringly there're some modifications in the site too, regarding cut-off marks. And since we've waited this long, one more day wouldnt hurt a lot I guess.
