Arrangements have been made
by the government to recruit 4,045 new Grama Niladhari officers.
The list of names of 3,781 persons who have
qualified for the Grama Niladhari posts after passing the relevant examination
has been posted in the website www.pubad.gov.lk of the Ministry of Public
Administration and Home Affairs.
The
results of 264 candidates who have obtained equal marks from the examination
have not been released yet.
The names of
selected candidates will be released upon approval from the Public Services
Commission and the State Management Services Institution. The selected Grama Niladharis will be given a
three months' training before they are assigned to permanent posts.-Source SLBC
