Sri Lankan Universities, Campuses and Higher Education
Institutes World Rankings 2014 January edition released. According
to the Webometrics the 2014 Sri Lankan Universities Rankings are as
follows.
Again
Colombo University has come to No:1 place beating Moratuwa University. University
Peradeniya has jumped to No 3 again passing University of Ruhuna.Japura Campus also achieved 5th place.Kelani Campus has dropped to 6th Place.
When
considering Sri Lankan Universities with World Ranking in 2014, we have dropped
again from 2150 place to 2251. In 2013 January ranking Sri Lankan Universities ranked 1883
place. Year 2012 Ranking Sri Lankan campus recorded 1681 place.

What's going on? At least we must improve our universities to stick in top 10 rankings of South Asia region.
ReplyDeleteH E minister S B D was boasting about our gaining ranks about 2 years ago. He told the media that the achievement was due to his brave decisions regarding major changes in university education system. He is deaf silence today.
