Three students of
Rajarata University, Sri Lanka have been arrested by the police Inter
University Students Federation IUSF said(December 11).
Sri Lankan Rajarata University Students were attacked by an unknown group yesterday night. Five students were injured and admitted to the Mihintale Hospital.
Two of these students
were attacked within their private hostels yesterday night. The other two were
attacked while going to their hostel.
12 men wearing masks and armed with knives, swords and
daggers had attacked them. Police said the injured students were admitted to
the Mihintale Hospital and later transferred to the Anuradhapura hospital.
Those armed men had broken into the private hostel where the 3rd and 4th year
students were boarded.
