The
Sri Lankan President introduced the hotline 1918 for Higher Education and
Education related matters.Students can call 1918 and get information about
Higher Education and university related issues. The First call was given by the
President.The 1918 Hot Line was launched at the Progressive review meeting of
the Higher Education Ministry which held under the patronage of the President.
Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayake and Deputy Minister Nandimithra Ekanayake
attended the meeting.
